Board of Directors:  

President and Director: Harry O. Hoyt, III

Harry O. Hoyt, III is the founder, President and a Director of Trish’s Angels. As President and Director, he is responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of Trish’s Angels strategic development, operations and mission execution. Mr. Hoyt retired in 2002 after 30 years with Ford Motor Company, where he served in numerous managerial positions. He graduated from Western Michigan University in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. His commitment to community service and leadership activities has been demonstrated by his past involvement serving on the Board of Directors for Zoo Atlanta and volunteering with Junior Achievement and the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization. In November 2012, Mr. Hoyt’s wife of 41 years, Trish Hoyt, passed away from ALS, less than two years after her initial diagnosis.  Mr. Hoyt, with the unending support of his and Trish’s son and daughter, dedicated his life to caring for Trish and providing the highest quality of life possible after her diagnosis until her death. Since her death, he has channeled that energy into establishing Trish’s Angels, with the intention of giving other ALS patients similar support.

Treasurer and Director: James Howard Revier

James Howard Revier is the Treasurer and a Director of Trish’s Angels. In addition to those responsibilities, Mr. Revier will assist in the fundraising, financial and tax reporting and other executive matters. He graduated from Florida State University in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Mr. Revier retired in 2002 after 36 years with Ford Motor Company, where he served in various sales and marketing positions. He has demonstrated a commitment to community service and leadership activities for much of his life. Currently, he serves as a delegate for 405 homeowners in Ocean Ranch to the Bear Brand Master Home Owners Association.  He also serves as a member of the landscape committee in Ocean Ranch and the Bear Brand Master Home Owners Association.  He has also been a member of the Citizens Advisory Committee at Moulton Niguel Water District since 2009.

Secretary and Director: Monica Mehren, M.D.

Monica Mehren, M.D. is a Director of Trish’s Angels.  A retired Kaiser Permanente physician, Dr. Mehren earned her medical degree from George Washington University and completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She was a partner physician with the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Medical Group since 1988. Dr. Mehren is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Hospice and Palliative Care. Most of her time was spent doing home hospice care. Dr. Mehren had the privilege of caring for Trish Hoyt during the last months of her life.

Director: Laurie Taddonio

Ms. Taddonio earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Anthropology in 1986 from East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. She has more than 25 years of experience in the FDA-regulated industry, including 10 years with the FDA as an investigator. She is currently an independent consultant who specializes in assisting pharmaceutical and medical device companies internationally with quality assurance and compliance.
